Complete renovation of a farm.
The old-growth wood was reused and completed with old-growth wood from old surrounding farms in the Beaufort area.
The owners wished to maintain the “grazing ground” spirit and everything was done to recreate a cosy cocoon-like feeling. Interior furnishings are mostly made from old-growth wood, with the kitchen, fireplace and stairs being in complete harmony. Upstairs, wood is omnipresent, with particular attention being paid to the cosy feeling in the 3 bedrooms and bathroom. A very nice project with particular focus on interior decoration by the owner who is passionate about the “mountain spirit”.
Little detail +:
Use of “chicken fencing” as a finishing touch for the mezzanine railing is a throwback to the farm of yesteryear.
